President

Hazel Torek

Hazel is a junior in math and computer science from Charleston, SC. She’s interested in programming languages and formal verification. She’s also the co-director of CUhackit, Clemson’s annual hackathon, and the vice president of Clemson’s oSTEM chapter.

Caden Allen

Caden is a computer science major with a Spanish minor who is a resident gym-goer and enjoys the three things every nerd loves: gaming, programming, and reading. He is a member of NSBE, Clemson Cyber, and Clemson’s CCDC team. He is active in embedded systems research and plans to pursue a PhD.

Brady Setser

Brady is a junior computer science major with a minor in artificial intelligence from South Carolina. Whenever he finds free time, he enjoys solving programming puzzles, working on side projects, and playing mellophone in Tiger Band. On campus, he is involved with the Clemson Competitive Programming Team.

Secretary

Ryon Peddapalli

Ryon is a sophomore math and computer science major from Lexington, SC. Whenever he’s lucky enough to get free time, he enjoys working on video games. On campus, he is involved with Clemson’s quizbowl team and the fencing club.

Communications Chair

Kate Fullero

Kate is a computer science major with a minor in artificial intelligence from Charleston, SC. She is passionate about making technology inclusive and accessible, with a focus on applying it to non-STEM fields. In her free time, she enjoys playing violin and working out. She is involved in College Loops, SWE, and Clemson Symphony Orchestra.

Uzayr Syed

Uzayr is a sophomore computer science major with a minor in finance from Greenville, SC. He’s interested in human centered computing, artificial intelligence, and entrepreneurship with the hopes of using all three fields to help better humanity. During his free time, Uzayr enjoys going to the gym, spending time with friends, fishing, and hiking. He currently leads Forge, a CS fellowship program that is a part of our ACM chapter, and also holds leadership in the Muslim Student Association, Clemson Fintech, and Clemson Build.

Advisor

Mr. Dan Wooster

Our awesome advisor. He is a Professor of Practice in the School of Computing and loves connecting students with industry. He first joined the Clemson faculty in 1985-1989 and returned in 2022 with experience in both industry and academia. His passion for fostering industry connections makes him an invaluable resource for the chapter.
