Gresham Lochner, Owner and Executive Producer of Locktix Visual Effects in Los Angeles, visited DPA and met with students, faculty, and staff to find out what the DPA MFA program has to offer.

Gresham was given the grand tour of all of the DPA production facilities and he came away impressed. After his tour, Gresham gave a talk titled "How to Get a Job in VFX." Naturally, the screening room was packed with students and they listened intently as he covered the full gamut of job-seeking topics from how to organize your job search to how to answer tough interview questions such as "What is your desired salary?"

Next, Gresham joined the students for lunch where the students were able to get additional insight into the visual effects business and what it takes to be successful in today's marketplace. After lunch, Gresham met with faculty and learned about the history of DPA and what the plans are for the future of the program.

Thanks to Gresham for taking the time to come visit and give a talk. We look forward to seeing him at the DPA Reception at SIGGRAPH 2015 in Los Angeles in August.
